The calendar below shows shuttles and overnight stays that are already scheduled with Cherokee Hills Neighbor-Hostel.

A date showing a shuttle does not automatically mean the day is unavailable. In many cases hikers can join an existing shuttle and share the cost if they are heading to the same trailhead.

If you see a shuttle already scheduled to a trailhead (TH) where you want to start or finish, reach out to us. There may still be open seats and we’re often able to combine hikers traveling to the same location. Sharing the shuttle fees with others is an added bonus!

We also typically have two drivers running shuttles, so a second trip may still be possible even if one shuttle is already booked.

If you are arriving at GSP (Greenville-Spartanburg Airport) or AVL (Asheville Airport) and see a shuttle scheduled that day, please contact us to ask about joining the ride.

Approximate drive times for common routes:

GSP or AVL → Oconee State Park

• With food cache stop: about 2 hours

• Without food cache stop: about 1 hour 45 minutes

Table Rock State Park → Oconee State Park

• With food cache stop: about 1 hour

• Without food cache stop: about 50 minutes

The calendar is meant to give hikers a quick snapshot of current activity, but we can often make things work even when a day looks busy. If your dates are flexible or you’re willing to share a shuttle, send us a message and we’ll help coordinate.
